Although Ji Quan and Elder Sun had warned repeatedly, the greed and ambition of some people could not be quelled by mere verbal warnings. Before Mu Yin could even activate the Origin Stone, someone attempted to snatch it. Mu Yin paid no mind, but Ji Quan and the others’ expressions changed sharply. They immediately ordered their guards to intervene. However, before the guards could reach the thief, the moment the person touched the outer halo of the Origin Stone, their entire body dissolved like a bubble, vanishing before everyone’s eyes.
This scene terrified everyone. Those who had been itching to act but hadn’t yet were suddenly drenched in cold sweat, grateful that they hadn’t moved faster—otherwise, they would have been the ones vaporized. Ji Quan and Elder Sun hadn’t expected Mu Yin’s warning to be genuine; their respect for her deepened. Fortunately, Mu Yin bore no hostility toward them, or else they would have been powerless to stop whatever she intended to do.
Mu Yin infused her supernatural power into the Origin Stone, causing it to spin and emit a primordial aura. Suddenly, a tremor shook the world, as if something was struggling to break free. The entire world seemed to quake. After all, forcibly removing the Origin Stone—now a pillar of this world’s narrative thread—was bound to have consequences. Except for Mu Yin, everyone else struggled to maintain their footing amid the increasing tremors and eventually fell to the ground.
“Miss Li, this…” Ji Quan crouched, clutching a nearby stone pillar, struggling to speak.
“Just wait a little longer. It’s almost done,” Mu Yin replied, exerting effort to control the Origin Stone, preventing it from flying away. After a while, the tremors suddenly ceased. Mu Yin swiftly absorbed the Origin Stone into her soul, but then another Origin Stone surged toward her, seemingly intent on merging with the one she held.
Mu Yin grabbed it firmly and infused it with her power. The previously writhing Origin Stone steadied instantly and began to radiate beams of light—ripples spreading like water across the entire world. People everywhere saw the colorful glow gradually transform into a thick mist.
Everyone stepped back and inhaled deeply, drawing the mist into their bodies. They had been educated beforehand that during the resurgence of spiritual energy, the more white mist absorbed, the better for their health.
This process lasted no more than five minutes. When the Origin Stone ceased glowing, Mu Yin captured it again and stored it away in a spatial dimension, unwilling to place it in her soul for fear of the two stones fusing together.

With this, the task in this world was complete. Mu Yin exhaled in relief, when suddenly a hand gripped hers tightly. She turned to see Qi Rao’s worried and fearful eyes, as if afraid she would vanish in the next moment, holding on to her firmly.
Recently, Qi Rao had been steadily winning her favor—not with sweet words, but through consistent actions: bringing her flowers, cooking meals, preparing food during her busy times, and reminding her to rest on time. Gradually, he was weaving himself into her life, making her accustomed to his presence. Perhaps, before long, she might accept him.
As spiritual energy revived, humans evolved, but so did animals and plants, some far more aggressively. Humans were forced into conflict with other creatures for survival space, prompting the military to mobilize. Qi Rao, now the president of the Explorers’ Guild, grew increasingly busy.
Still, he made every effort to contact Mu Yin daily, sometimes with a brief text, but more often by phone or video call. He shared amusing anecdotes from his life but rarely mentioned the dangers he faced.
Mu Yin was gradually moved. She was not devoid of emotion and naturally could be touched by others’ gestures. One day, she appeared before Qi Rao and joined him in battle.
“Mu Mu, what are you doing here?” Qi Rao was both surprised and delighted. Despite having re-established energy shields after the resurgence, mutated animals had begun attacking human cities, forcing them to defend the border.
“I came to help you,” Mu Yin said with a smile. With a wave of her hand, a fire dragon incinerated a mutated crow charging toward them.
“You mean…” Qi Rao caught the hidden meaning behind her words and was so overjoyed he was speechless.
“Yes,” Mu Yin nodded, accepting his courtship.
“I’m very happy,” Qi Rao finally said, unable to express more than his feelings.

Mu Yin lived in this world for seventy years, always walking ahead of Qi Rao. He felt sorrow but not despair. He understood that Mu Yin was only leaving this world to journey to the next. His sadness was not because she was leaving, but because he could no longer accompany her.
Though reluctant and jealous, Qi Rao never asked Mu Yin to take him with her, knowing it was beyond her power.
After the resurgence of spiritual energy, the three kingdoms merged into the Huafeng Alliance. Three leaders who had long remained in the shadows stepped forward to guide the people in evolving and advancing technology. Thirty years later, they had claimed half the planet’s territory and rapidly developed technology, even beginning space exploration.
Between Zeng Yi and Meng Xinhao, the narrative thread had vanished, and their once unshakable bond began to crack. Meng Xinhao, outwardly gentle and refined, was actually ambitious and not one to prioritize love. Later, he married his fiancée but still wanted to maintain a relationship with the female protagonist.
Zeng Yi was not the type to sacrifice everything for love. Upon sensing Meng Xinhao’s intentions, she decisively broke up and devoted herself to cultivation. Ultimately, by leveraging the last vestiges of the halo’s effects, she became a powerful supernatural being and secured a prominent position in the rapidly growing Explorers’ Guild. Surpassing Meng Xinhao in status, she also found a loyal companion willing to give everything for her, living a blissful life.
Leaving that world behind, Mu Yin took the Origin Stone from her soul and cast it into the River of Time and Space. She then fused the newly acquired Origin Stone into her soul. Fortunately, her storage space had also been bathed in the River of Time and Space, undergoing a qualitative transformation; otherwise, it could not have contained the Origin Stone.
She then submerged herself into the River of Time and Space as well, allowing the emotions accumulated in this world to settle. Memories were manageable, as she had methods to store or erase them, but emotions were beyond her control and required time to fade. The River of Time and Space was perfect for this.
After an unknown amount of time, when her emotions had lost their color, leaving only memories, Mu Yin opened her eyes, stirred the river’s currents, and followed the waves into a new world.
