Chapter 25: Venturing Out to Learn the Hunt

After consuming the meat of the fierce beasts they spoke of for several days in a row, Yun Li finally succeeded in breaking through to the Red Tier on the sixth day.

However, the process of Leng Xiu and the others teaching Yun Li how to hunt was far from smooth. It was not that Yun Li lacked aptitude or was difficult to instruct, but rather that the beasts in the forest seemed unusually manic.

Take the earth rabbit, for instance—a creature with virtually no offensive capabilities, known only for being timid, digging burrows, and running fast. Yet, when Yun Li transformed into her beast form to hunt one for the first time, she was met with an uncharacteristic and aggressive counterattack.

If that were the extent of it, it might have been manageable, but who could explain to Yun Li why even the other small, herbivorous animals had suddenly become so hostile?
