Ye Feng drove steadily back to the club. As soon as Huang Quanlu got out of the car, his legs gave way and he nearly collapsed to the ground. Though his mind had recovered, his body had not, and he began to vomit uncontrollably, making Ye Feng feel rather embarrassed.

Ye Feng hurriedly apologized, saying he hadn't raced in a long time and had lost control. Hearing this, Huang Quanlu nearly fainted. This was not a matter of losing control—it was utterly reckless. He swore never to ride in Ye Feng's car again.

Without further words, Huang Quanlu and Ye Feng parted ways, and Ye Feng drove off in his new car. Huang Quanlu turned back to the Sovereign Club, heading to the underground secret room. Inside, an elderly man with snow-white hair and a pale-faced young man sat waiting.

No sooner had Huang Quanlu taken his seat than the old man spoke, "Ye Feng is not to be used."

"Oh? Uncle Liang, why do you say so?" Huang Quanlu was taken aback. In his recollection, Uncle Liang never opposed his decisions, especially regarding personnel matters.

"He's far too dangerous. His fate is extraordinary. If given time, he will pose a great threat to you. In my opinion, it's best to eliminate him early," the old man's eyes glinted with murderous intent.

Huang Quanlu frowned, "Uncle Liang, he is, after all, Luo Ming's brother. Though Luo Ming is not yet head of the Luo family, I still owe him some respect. Besides, today I saw Director Xu Wen from the provincial department, who seems to obey Ye Feng's every word. He might be useful to me in the future..."

"If you find it troublesome, I'll handle it myself," Uncle Liang squinted his eyes.

He hadn't acted for twenty years, but everyone in the underworld knew that Haifeng had an old man called Uncle Liang, who was nearly invincible with a blade in hand. Seeing him speak so seriously, Huang Quanlu furrowed his brow, "Is he even more formidable than Xiao Hei? You’d trouble yourself to deal with him?"

Uncle Liang sighed and shook his head. "It's not that he's powerful, but his fate is too resilient. Even if I act, I might not succeed in taking his life."

"I’ll think it over," Huang Quanlu said after some contemplation.

Seeing Huang Quanlu’s resolve, Uncle Liang shook his head, sighing as he left the secret room, "Very well. Since you insist on using him, I have nothing more to say. Everything is predestined. I don’t wish to interfere with fate—let it be."

Huang Quanlu was lost in thought for a moment, then turned to the pale-faced youth beside him, "Xiao Hei, find out what Ye Feng is really about. If you think he’s useful, keep an eye on him. If not, deal with him directly..."

Xiao Hei sneered dismissively and prepared to leave.

"Don't be careless. I suspect Ye Feng has something unusual about him. When I first met him, I felt something strange, but it vanished quickly, and I couldn’t figure out what it was." Huang Quanlu reminded him offhandedly.

His words did not make Xiao Hei pay attention; he only thought Young Master Huang had been intimidated by Uncle Liang, and walked out without another word.

Huang Quanlu smiled bitterly, "Ye Feng, oh Ye Feng, I truly don’t know what sort of deity you are, to have even Uncle Liang take notice." Then his tone turned cold: "No matter if you’re dragon or tiger, you'd better not stand in my way, or I’ll make you a dead dog."

Meanwhile, Ye Feng had heard every word through the bio-energy eavesdropping device Bad Bad had implanted under Huang Quanlu’s skin. He wondered who this Uncle Liang was, even capable of reading fate—how absurd!

Bad Bad immediately rebuked Ye Feng’s thoughts. "You’re truly hopeless. After all this time, your mindset hasn’t changed at all. How many impossibilities have you already accepted? Am I fake? Is your inner strength fake? Is everything you possess fake?"

"Could there really be such a thing as aura-reading?"

"Of course! Aura-reading is one of the treasures of the Chinese nation, passed down since ancient times. Which emperor didn’t have at least one or two aura masters to select imperial tomb sites, using ancestors to suppress national fortune, hoping for eternal prosperity?"

"Oh... So there are still masters today?"

"There should be a few left. Uncle Liang is at best a beginner and can only see the general picture. Otherwise, he wouldn’t just let things go. Your fate isn’t merely dangerous for him—it’s a certain death situation."

"I understand."

After Bad Bad’s scolding, Ye Feng obediently took a shower and went to sleep. He had no idea who Xiao Hei really was, but judging by appearances, he was not an ordinary person, so it was best to be well-rested to face him.

Midnight arrived quickly. The sky was overcast, neither moon nor stars visible. The ancestral house, with its lights off, was especially dark. Lying in bed, Ye Feng entered a dream, where Bad Bad continued to torment him.

The night was pitch black. Ye Feng was driving his Hummer, speeding through the rugged, mountainous forest terrain, when the scene abruptly vanished and Bad Bad kicked him out of the dream.

Ye Feng was puzzled, but Bad Bad’s voice sounded in his mind, "Don’t make a sound. Someone has entered the house. Judging by his skills, he’s on your level—or perhaps even a bit better. He’s just entered the house. What do you plan to do?"

"Do you have any good suggestions?" Ye Feng retorted.

"I suggest you pretend to sleep. He seems to be searching for something, not here to kill you," Bad Bad teased.

"Stop showing off. Do you have any reliable advice?" Ye Feng thought it unreasonable to just lie low while someone rummaged through his house.

"You certainly don’t want anyone to know you practice inner strength, so pretending to sleep is best."

"But I want to test my skills. After all this training, I need some comparison," Ye Feng protested. Bad Bad said he wasn't up to the task, but a man can’t be told he’s lacking—Ye Feng was definitely unhappy.

"You could take a transformation pill and fight him. He won’t recognize you, but there’s one problem..."

"What problem? I think it’s fine."

"The problem is your combat value isn’t as high as his. He probably won’t kill Ye Feng, but if it’s not Ye Feng, who knows if he’d show mercy?"

"You’re so sure I can’t beat him?" Ye Feng asked, confused.

"According to the data, yes. But if you add favorable timing and terrain, it’s hard to say. Whether you engage or not is up to you," Bad Bad replied irresponsibly.

Ye Feng said nothing, quietly got up, and gently opened the door. "Where is he now?"

"He’s rummaging in the study."

Knowing the intruder’s position, Ye Feng took a transformation pill from his spatial ring and swallowed it. He changed into a set of black clothes and crept downstairs, unafraid with Bad Bad monitoring him every step of the way.
