Your little darling is hard at work writing.

Suddenly, it hits me—today is Thursday.

Friday is the launch day!

It’s like a bolt from the blue, a thunderclap out of nowhere.

Even if I’m destined to flop, I want to treat it with some ceremony.

So—before the launch, I’ll write a few words of reflection.

Oh, my dear readers:

“Tomorrow, my book *The Lich King of a Certain Marvel* goes live!”

With a nervous heart, I pen these thoughts. Though this isn’t my first time launching a book, each time I’m gripped by anxiety.

My hands even tremble slightly.

It pains me so much it’s hard to breathe.

Truth be told, this book came together rather quickly—from drafting the outline to polishing and finally launching, it took just about a month and a half.

It marks a return to my roots, an attempt at Marvel fanfiction.

At first, I didn’t quite have a firm grasp on the plot. I wanted to make it lively, entertaining, something that would bring joy to readers.

But then I suddenly realized that, like all of you, I’m a simple soul, a pure one, someone detached from base trivialities.

And then there’s the timeline issue. Marvel fanfiction is vast, and most follow the timeline closely. But I wondered—must it be written strictly by that timeline? Couldn’t I break free?

There isn’t much to write about just from the Marvel movies anyway, so I added some original twists and tried out new elements and storylines.

Also, there’s the matter of the protagonist’s characterization.

But—

The Lich King, well, those who understand, understand.

I set the framework firmly from the start.

This is my first attempt at fanfiction, so surely there are shortcomings. I’ll strive to make it more exciting as I go.

Maybe breaking the fourth wall, adding more elements, or even tossing in some Hogwarts muggle magic, and then some cheeky fun.

After all, it’s a Marvel story—interactions with movie characters are inevitable. But honestly, Marvel itself is just that; there’s limited material straight from the films to work with.

Lastly...

Judging by the current number of recommendation votes, I doubt I’ll reach 500 subscriptions.

It’s a little heartbreaking.

Ah!

If 500 subscriptions is the goal, how about for every extra 100 subscriptions tomorrow, I add another chapter?

As for titles like “leader” or “big shot”...

A flop must accept its fate. I tell myself not to dream too big.

Better to focus on adding more chapters.

But what if some handsome hero or beautiful soul takes pity on me and lends a hand?

Hehe.

Honestly, I am truly grateful for the support from my readers, for the editors’ hard work, for the companionship of everyone.
